A brightly colored throw rug in the center of the room completes the picture. It looks like the kitchen lies to the south, the bedroom door to the east, and the front door to the north. An apparition of a man strides into the livingroom right through the east wall. You shout and wave at it but it continues on across the room and walks through the west wall. It did not seem to be aware of you or anything in the room. Don't worry about that guy. He's just a bit of crosstalk. I'll tweak the settings and it won't happen again. You can hear a faint clucking sound coming from the bedroom to the east.
